| in 1989 nintendo came out with a mixture of game & watch (portable lcd game) and nes (cartridge
system). today the game boy is actually the best sold videogame system ever!!
until 2000 the game boy has been sold over 110 million times. there were other portable systems with
interchangeable game paks like microvision from milton bradley or game gear from sega, but nintendo's game boy never
had a real competitor. it wasn't only the hardware that pushed this 8bit system to the top -
the game cartridges like the brilliant tetris and other nintendo classics like super mario, donkey kong and zelda
lead to the huge success. the developmental history of nintendo's game boy shows many stages from the b/w 8bit oldie

it contains donkey kong, pac-man, bomberman, excitebike, ice climber, xevious, zelda and mario bros. |

| nintendo released lots of accessories like cases,
pockets, magnifying glasses and light but
my favourites are the camera and the printer! you can shoot pictures with
your gameboy and print them as stickers. |

were released since 1989...there are hundreds (or thousands???).
a lot of great games from all software companies were released. this is
a nintendo site, so i will only present a few of my favourites made by nintendo.
